Summer at the Library

The Library has something for everyone this summer! Make sure to check out our new Wednesday night Summer Series, a five week series featuring fun and educational programming for adults. The Summer Series is every Wednesday evening at 7 pm and will run from June 26 to August 7. Programs include: June 26 – Tough Gals: The Female Sleuth in Mystery Fiction July 10 – Intro to Ukulele (ages 11 and up) July 17 – Space Race to the Moon July 24 – Rocks in the Garden: A Public History of Slavery in Morristown July 31 – Ben Franklin August 7 – Intro to Ukulele (ages 16 and up) Those aren’t the only programs we have to offer this summer! Our meditation program is continuing throughout the summer, with meditation sessions every Wednesday at noon, and the first Monday of the month at 7 pm. (Note: there are no meditation sessions on 8/5 and 9/25). We will also be showing newly released movies on the second Monday of each month at noon, as well as on the last Tuesday of each month at 6:30pm. And for the kids, don’t forget to sign up for summer reading! The summer reading kickoff is June 24 at 3:30, featuring Jester Jim!
